Workshops
We currently have 2 tutors at The Stitchery: Steve Jephson and Liz Hands

Steve Jephson takes 5 week courses of 2 hour sessions.

The Tuesday morning workshop from 10 am - noon, for beginners, is making a 6 block sampler quilt. 

The Tuesday afternoon workshop from 1 - 3pm for more the experienced patchworker, is making larger Sampler Quilt.  

The Thursday morning workshop from 10 - noon, is halfway through the making of a Quillow.

The Thursday after noon workshop from 1 - 3pm, is starting to make a Quillow.  

The Friday morning 10 - noon workshop runs every Friday in the month except for 2nd Friday.   This workshop is starting to make a Quilt entitled 'One Row at a Time' and is aimed at patchworkers with a little experience. 

There are currently no spaces in any of the above workshops.

Liz Hands prefers to take one day workshops from 10am - 4pm when she teaches techniques such as bias binding making, Baltimore basics, Fabric covered boxes, Japanese folding technique and Rag Doll making.  If you are interested in any of these techniques or would like to learn other hand sewing techniques please contact us on 01526 832131.

Liz Hands also takes a workshop on the 2nd Friday in each month completing a Baltimore Album Quilt based on the traditional quilt but with a few design ideas from Liz herself.  The course will last for approximately 24 sessions.  A new course of  Baltimore Album Quilt workshops will start on 7th November - for details contact 01526 832131.
