Rico Pompon
Pompon is a very popular fun fashion yarn. You only need one ball to knit a warm, soft scarf in a couple of evenings. Pompon has been used to make cushion covers, bags, pram covers, bath mats and waistcoats - pattern book now available.
Ball weight 200 grms, length 100m , content 100% polyester. Recommended needle size 2.75mm - 4mm. Tension: 10 sts/10 rows to 10 cms.
We recommend casting on using 2.75mm needle and knitting 2 rows before changing to a 3.5mm, 3.75mm or 4mm needle, this makes it easier to cast on. The pompons are placed 2" apart along the length of the yarn leaving enough room to do 2 stitches between each pompon. The instructions for a scarf are on the ball band but you could make a cushion or pram cover, from the ideas booklet, sold separately. Warm handwash recommended. Do not tumble dry. Dry flat out of direct heat & sunlight. Do not bleach. Do not iron.
